I am a lawyer by profession and a practising advocate. Alongside legal practice, I work as a legal researcher, rule of law practitioner, and consultant, examining how legal systems operate in practice and respond to institutional and social challenges. My writing focuses particularly on East Africa, with interests in regional integration, human rights, access to justice, digital regulation, law and religion, institutional reform, and legal questions at the intersection of climate change, migration, and development. I combine academic legal research with practical experience in justice, legal development, institutional support, and public legal education.
